The registration fee includes course material, a reception on Thursday morning (August 31), breaks, lunches, a guided tour in the old part of the town on Sunday and the school dinner on Saturday (September 2). Please note that the registration fee does not include hotel accommodation, although MPI can make the reservation. (see "Accommodation" below).
To register for ADFOCS, you should follow the secure online procedure. The registration procedure has three steps. Please fill in all relevant entries. We provide below some useful information on each of these three steps:
Step 1: For the following fields use the default parameter: Inscription Type, Conference Dinner, Extra Banquet Ticket(s) and Extra Proceedings Volume(s).
Step 3: You can pay either by bank transfer or by credit card. Please notice that our web site is secure.
There will be a fee of 50 DM applied to cancellation requests received by August 21st. No refunds will be made to cancellations that are received later; no-show registrations will also be billed in full.
Limited grants are available for participating in ADFOCS. Priority will be given to applications of students and young researchers from ALCOM sites.
The extended deadline for applying is the same as the early registration deadline, namely August 4, 2000.

a brief CV (name, affiliation, complete address information, age, nationality, etc.);
for ALCOM participants, a brief letter of recommendation from the ALCOM site coordinator at their Institute, certifying also their relation with the project

A block of rooms at special rates has been reserved in Hotel Madeleine (10 rooms) and Hotel Continental (20 rooms), which are at the city center. The registration fee does not cover accommodation; please pay directly at the hotel (on your arrival).
