Authors are invited to submit original papers reporting research contributions, practice and experience, or novel applications. In contrast to previous years a preliminary abstract is due by January 30, 2002, to facilitate the selection of the reviewers and to speed up the reviewing process. Paper submission will be electronic, but authors may also submit additional material (VHS video, CD-ROM). Given the limited time between submission and final version, papers will be evaluated by the International Programme Committee "as submitted"; if significant improvement is required a paper will be rejected. Authors are requested to include a declaration that their paper has not been submitted to any other conference or journal and that they are prepared to present their paper at the conference. Papers must be written and presented in English. Papers should not exceed 10 A4 pages in length. Conference proceedings will be published as the third issue of Computer Graphics Forum, volume 21, both on paper and electronically, and will be available to all the conference participants. The Guenther Enderle Award:An international jury will select the three best papers accepted and presented at the conference. The best of the three will receive the Guenther Enderle Award, including a cash prize of 1,000 CHF.Best Student Paper Award:An award will be given to the best paper authored and presented at the conference by a full time student. |
