Submission is closedSubmission is closedThe John Lansdown Award Competition:![]() ![]() John Lansdown was an inspirational figure in European Computer Graphics. Following his death in 1999, Eurographics is awarding a multimedia prize in his honor, first offered at the 2000 Eurographics Conference. You are invited to submit interactive multimedia products either as CD-ROMs, DVDs or web-sites. Judges will consider them for their flair in the use of graphics, sound and interaction. Submissions may range from professional products by established companies to student projects; the essential criterion for assessment is the kind of original thinking exhibited by John Lansdown himself. We seek vibrant interactive systems that engage and intrigue their users. The best contribution will be awarded with a cash prize of 750 Swiss Francs; the second best will receive 250 Swiss Francs. Web sites for submission may be indicated by email, but a similar signed cover sheet and authority should be sent by post.
Closing date for submissions: Prize winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the Eurographics 2002 conference at Saarbrücken, Germany on 6 September 2002. |
