Short/Poster Presentations![]() ![]() Short Papers accepted for Eurographics 2002 will be presented in the form of a Poster session (not as short talks as last year). The session takes place at Wednesday evening in conjunction with a cheese&wine party.
Short Paper PreparationAdditionally, all short papers will be printed in a separate volume available to all conference participants and will be included on the conference CD-ROM. Guidelines for preparing the final version of your paper for the short paper proceedings should have been sent to you already (you can get them here as well). Please prepare your notes until June, 27.
Poster PreparationYou will be able to present your work on a large poster with a maximum size of A0. We will also provide tables, so for instance you can bring a laptop to show demos. Please let us know of any additional requirements you have beyond plane posters, so we can plan properly and fulfil your requests.Everyone is responsible for his own poster (design, print, transport, and presentation at the conference).
Important Deadlines
Please contact the short paper/poster chairs Isabel Navazo and Philipp Slusallek at eg02-posters@mpi-sb.mpg.de for further information.
Clarification of the Status of Short Paper/Poster as a Publication![]() ![]() Due to frequent requests about the status of Short Paper/Poster as a publication we would like to clarify the situation: If a paper is accepted as a Short Paper/Poster it will be published in the short papers proceedings (with ISSN) as stated in the CFP. However, it is definitely not a regular EG/CGF paper. Short Papers will be jointly presented in a display poster session separately from regular papers. The "same" paper should not be submitted to other journals/conferences. But yes you are free to submit an extented or a more detailed version of your work/research. Our idea is that short papers show work in progress, partial results, or new ideas of research.
