Oral Presentations |
Orals are allocated 20 minutes for the presentation plus 4 minutes for questions. You will be asked to leave the podium once your time is up, so please make sure you do not exceed the time limit. |
Be present at the podium at least 15 minutes before the start of your session. Oral presenters should introduce themselves to the session chair as soon as they arrive. |
If you require any special assistance during your talk or to get to the podium, please let the session chair know of this before the session. |
Oral speakers should test their own laptops with the projector before the session, to avoid any technical difficulties. |
Poster Presentations |
Your poster will be shown in one of the two poster sessions. Please put up your poster during the lunch break on the day of your poster presentation (12:30pm to 1:45pm). Presenters are responsible for removing their poster at the conclusion of the poster session. |
Each poster will be assigned a specific poster board. Please see the labels on the boards and check with the registration desk should you have trouble locating your poster board. |
Push pins for attaching your poster to the board will be provided. |
The poster board is in *portrait* format, it is 1,45 m high and 1,18 m wide. |
In addition to the actual poster, each poster presenter will be given a 60 second spotlight presentation during which you should introduce yourself and briefly advertise your poster. The spotlight presentations will take place at the beginning of the respective poster session. Please note that the time limit of 60 seconds is strict and you will be asked to leave the podium once your time is over. |
Spotlight presenters should prepare one (1) slide in PDF or Powerpoint (PPT or PPTX) format. Videos and clickable animations are *not* allowed and will be removed. Please log into the CMT system and upload your slide by Tuesday, September 7. If you do not upload your slide in an appropriate format by that time, you will not be able to participate in the spotlight presentation. |
All slides will run automatically. Note that you will not have access to the laptop from which the slides are shown. Please give your microphone to the next presenter and leave the podium once your slide is flipped. |
