Accommodation

The participants are responsible for their room reservations. In Saarbrücken per-night prices including taxes and breakfast typically range from EURO 20 (youth hostel, double room) to about 60 Euro (hotel, single room).

We have reserved a certain number of rooms in

Hotel Madeleine. (63 Euro for a single room with breakfast, 7 rooms, offer available till 31th August 2009)
Hotel Weller (41 Euro for a single room with breakfast (33,50 Euro without), 10 rooms, offer available till 31st August 2009)
Hotel Kaiserhof (56 Euro for a single room with breakfast, 15 rooms, offer available till 17th August 2009)
Etap-Hotel (39 Euro for a single room without breakfast, 20 rooms, offer available till 17th August 2009)

When booking a room at one of these hotels, please refer to ADFOCS since we have negotiated special rates for you.

There are two more places that did not offer us contingents. For student of age less than 27 the youth hostel is our recommended accommodation, since it is closest to the university, not too expensive, and well equipped.

Youth Hostel (15 Euro for a single person in shared room (with own shower and toilet) with breakfast or 23 Euro for a single room with breakfast. Only for age 27 and below.)
There are no rooms available anymore at the youth hostel.
Hotel B&B Saarbrücken at the main station (46 Euro for a single room with breakfast.)

Note: We strongly advise that you make your room reservation well ahead in time, especially since there is a trade show in Saarbrücken during the week of ADFOCS 2009.
