GCPR Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presentation
Each oral is assigned a time slot of 12 minutes plus
3 minutes questions.
Do not exceed the given time limit. You have to leave the podium once your time limit is up.
Please contact your session chair in the coffee break before your presentation and
check if your laptop connects
with the beamer. The beamer can handle both the 16:9 and the 4:3 format. Graphic connectors
are availabe for VGA, HDMI, MiniDP. If you need other connectors, please ensure that you bring the
corresponding converters with you.
In case you do not bring your own laptop, we provide a laptop on which you have to copy your presentation in the
coffee break before the oral session. In this case, please prepare your presenation in PDF
or PPT format and bring a USB stick to transfer your presentation to the provided laptop.
Poster Presentation
Each poster is assigned to one of the four poster sessions indicated as "Posters and Coffee" in the programme.
The number P3-12 in the programme indicates that your poster is scheduled in Session 3
and that your poster board is Board #12. The poster format is A0 portrait.
In case of
a morning session (nectar posters), please install your poster between 8:30 and 9:00 and please remove your poster directly at the
beginning of the lunch break. i.e. at 12:30. In case of an afternoon session (standard posters), please install
your poster during lunch break, i.e. earliest at 12:30, and remove your poster before 18:00.
